"Some places are paradise - others are not so. I accidentally came across Bon Accord whilst seeking boutique style accommodation in the Sale area. It has to be one of Victoria's best kept secrets. The welcome is warm and friendly. The main grand country home where breakfast is served is separated by a garden from the individually named and beautifully appointed rooms. The names, The School House, the Milk Separator room, the Stables reflect the property's former grand life. Each room is decorated straight out of English Country Style with quality appointments and thoughtful touches including fresh flowers. The cooked breakfast too is in grand style. Bon Accord - the name says it all - is personalised and period styled accommodation. It's a little bit of paradise to be cosseted by the genial host - and his daschund dog. For me it is the only place to stay in the region and I intend to return with friends to share the large Stables suite"

"Staying at Bon Accord was a truly memorable experience. I did not want to leave. The heritage property lovingly restored by Tim was sheer delight! Not only beautiful to look at but warm and deliciously comfortable to stay in. It was luxurious and so relaxing. Our host Tim cooked us the perfect breakfast with eggs from his own chickens. Tim exudes a warmth and welcome that made our time at Bon Accord so very special. Perfect!"
